Fun to Learn Chinese ÖÐÎÄȤζ´ó½±Èü
2006 Chinese Language Competition and Workshop

Due to the increasing cultural and business exchanges between US and Asia, Chinese has become a popular foreign language to learn. Many people are looking for opportunities to study Chinese and gain a competitive advantage in their careers. Approximately three years ago, the Association of Chinese Professionals-DFW (ACP-DFW) took the initiative. Working closely with Chinese language schools and sister organizations, ACP petitioned Plano ISD for the creation of a Chinese foreign language option to be made available in high schools. This very successful campaign made Plano ISD the very first school district in the DFW area to offer a Chinese language class at the high school level. Many other school districts have since taken notes and are working on their own Chinese language class offerings. Carrolton-Farmers Branch ISD is expected be the next school district to offer a Chinese language class.
